Meetings. Some people love them; some people hate them. The team is going to have a few and your participation is requested, especially closer to the event. Those team members that come to more meetings will have more input into the planning. We have scheduled 4 meetings – each with specific purposes and topics. - October 20 (Thursday) from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Bob Kulon’s home. Address and map will be provided in advance. Topics: Concept, initial planning, community resources, volunteering progress.
- October 22 (Saturday) from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at The Egg & I Restaurant in Sunset Corners (corner of Bluff and Sunset). Please order a breakfast; the meeting room is free. Topics: Late breaking ideas, team organization, resource assignments, reality check, risks to avoid.
- November 19 (Saturday) from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at The Egg & I Restaurant in Sunset Corners (corner of Bluff and Sunset). Please order a breakfast; the meeting room is free. Topics: Detailed task planning, covering all the bases, backup plans.
- December 3 (Saturday) from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at The Egg & I Restaurant in Sunset Corners (corner of Bluff and Sunset). Please order a breakfast; the meeting room is free. Topics: Team role preparation.
And, of course, we’ll plan some fun event afterwards, maybe in January or February, to reunite the team and reminisce. Stay tuned.
